Are you interested in expanding your circle of friends?  Are you new to the area and looking for ways to get out and meet people?  Or are you perhaps a long-time resident of Great Falls, but find yourself suddenly at home more due to a change in career?  Would you like to get more involved in the Great Falls community?  Has the pace of your life changed so that you now find yourself with more time to get connected with people close to home?  Are you searching for people who have similar interests as you, or do you want to try some new things?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Newcomers of Great Falls is the club for you!  Whether you are new to the area or simply newly available to spend more time meeting people, Newcomers offers a great way to get involved in the Great Falls community. 

  •  We offer social events such as luncheons, coffees, evening socials as well as more casual and intimate activity groups such as Book Discussion, Cooking, Bunco, Wine Tasting, Bridge, Supper Club, Mom & Tots (and many more). 

  • We also have community events such as the Halloween House, 4th of July celebration and lots of wonderful fundraising events.  By working side-by-side with others like yourself, you'll quickly assimilate into the Great Falls community. 

  • Newcomers of Great Falls is open to all Fairfax County residents who reside in the Langley Pyramid school district.  You are welcome to join our club at any time during the year.   Note: Many of our Newcomers remain members for several years;  our club is not limited to "new" residents only and there is no time limit on how long you can remain a member!

Annual dues are $45 per family.  Prospective members are welcome to "try us out" by attending two club activities as our guest, free of charge.

If you are an existing member and have friends or neighbors you would like to recommend to Newcomers, contact our Member Chair with the prospective member name and address and the VP of Membership will contact them.

If you have moved, changed phone numbers or have a new email address, also send an email to the Membership Chair so that you won’t miss out on any of the great things Newcomers is planning for this year.
